Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza & Brewery in Wichita

I ordered a take out pizza. As usual the pizza was delicious but what was unusual was the amazing pick up service. I was greeted promptly at my car and my pizza was brought out to me. Thanks!

There's this guy who I met there who works there. He probably won't remember me but he cought my eye and I haven't been able to stop thinking about him, I'm just to scared to say anything. He helped me with 3 orders that night! Amy travon and Daniel her wrote their names on box

Quality has gone down over time, still good wood oven pizza

Every time I eat here I ask myself why I don't come more often. Very friendly helpful staff, drinks always full, asking if we need anything.Pizza always comes out perfect with that nice wood fired crisp. Slit a pizza and lasagna, and enjoyed both. Make sure to use the chilli oil on your pizza for great added flavor.

Delicious wood fire pizzas. Definitely the best pizza place in town. They also added cauliflower pizza crust to the menu,which is surprisingly tasty.

The pizza is not greasy. The toppings are some of the best. I think it's the best pizza in town. A must try for everyone. They have pasta, salads, pizza, and sandwiches/panini.

Amazing flavor in today's special (see pic)! My friend also had the special and loved it also. And Lauren was splendidly pleasant and stayed on top of our service throughout!

Ok but not great. The personal pizza is big enough for two. After a few minutes the chewy dough crust turns so soggy you have to eat the pizza with a fork. Not my style.

Went to Il vicino wichita college hill yesterday, it was great experience. We like this location better than the Bradley fair one the staff is nice and helpful. Would be very happy to go back. They serve one of the best wood oven pizza.

Absolutely delicious as usual, and ridiculously fast service! Had a group of 4 adults and a baby, and all of our pizzas were out to us in what felt like only 10 minutes. Either way, we all had great food!

Some of the best pizza ever! The #13 Bianca is my favorite. Also a great beer selection and the service has always been superb

On my recent visits the past five or six years to Wichita I never fail to either dine in or take out.Food is always delicious, fresh and very satisfying.

I eat here every chance I get. My go to pizza is the rustic. I'm also in love with their Il Vincino salad.

It was very good. Haven't ate here in 15 years and it was magnificent!

The best of the two in town. It is way less pretentious than the one in Bradley. It has a warm and cozy feel and the staff is very friendly.

This is my first time ever giving a bad review. Walked in for lunch, not crowded at all. The 2 waitresses saw us but did not acknowledge us. We took a few minutes to look over the menu then waited for our order to be taken for over 5 minutes before giving up and walking out.

I've been to Il Vicino before and it is awesome as always. This time I tried their beef and barely soup and had the calzone. Both items were new to me and both had amazing flavors. I also brought my boyfriend who enjoyed some pasta and he said that we will be coming back again

Fabulous! Lots of different choices for pizza and salads. All delicious.

Excellent food, and a great staff. The atmosphere is casual, they don't try to rush you out the door. Salads, pasta, pizza and dessert are the food choices. Their recipes are wonderful and the ingredients all fresh. They have a nice variety of wines and beer, as well as non-alcoholic beverages.

Aidan was so helpful! He cleared our spots and even took our card when the waitress never came back. I told the female manager he did great and she acted very displeased. He deserves to be rewarded for working hard! Only reason I would come back is if more people worked like him.

Great food. Bad service. Had to refill my own drinks and got my own to go boxes after asking for them. Also had to wait a long time just to get the dessert to go. Had to ask about the dessert 2 times.

Very nice place and very quick! Was able to feed my family of 5 with 3 of their pizzas. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Got a big problem. We went to Il Vicino to get a pizza tonight and as alway the food was excellent, even the water tasted like it was flow on fresh from the Colorado Rockies. The staff never treats you as a customer but as guest so friendly and attentive, and tonight they were exceptional.Now here's the problem, I want to give a 6-star rating but it only goes to 5 stars?Thank you for a wonderful evening. Just wanted to update my review and thank Il Vicino for becoming one of the first places I know to become environmentally friendly and stop using plastic straws and start using paper ones... the environment thanks you.

Had a friend recommend this a few years ago...hands down one of the best stone oven baked pizza’s anywhere, as you can see I enjoy a half-n-half pizza, I have tried every one on the menu and these two are my favorites, the staff are always attentive and friendly and the manager is great, I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying a meal at any of them, especially this one...

Decided to try this place based on a recommendation while I was in town. I'll start by saying honestly the food is a bit pricy for the size of the pizza and while the pizza was good I feel like it was not anything special. Overall I'd give it a 3/5 there are better pizza places. And defiantly more places you can get more pizza for cheaper and better quality.

Absolutely wonderful Pizza that you can Customize (or choose from their unique menu) that you would expect to pay twice as much for - and it's in Wichita KS! Our Engineer son took us there because he knows Pizza - they have their proprietary Picante oil to top dressing that is Great ( take it easy though because it is very rich) this is a very Italian Restaurant from their select wines sparkling waters & of course Cannolis & Tiramisu. A little bit of true Italy in the middle of Kansas.

The food tastes good but I did not like the attitude of the woman who is taking the orders, rolling eyes and frustrated to answer the customer. Of course when a customer visits for the first time, they have questions and who ever is responsible, have to answer with some patience. Not satisfied with the service.

I always love visiting this place!! Fast friendly and so caring of their guests!

1st time there. Ordered the pollo pizza medium. It was so good, I practically ate it all watching the Superbowl

I’ve been a long time customer, used to visit 2-3 times a week on average. When COVID first hit they did a good job by offering curbside delivery; they have since stopped offering that which simply comes across as being lazy - the payment booth is literally several steps from customers cars. If they’re inconvenienced by several steps then I certainly won’t drive several miles to give them my money. I’d also never dealt with Samantha up until recently, but she could definitely be nicer. Won’t be back. Won’t recommend others go there.

The food was super good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the price wasn’t too bad either. The coffee stout was very good and the calzones with housemaid sausage was excellent!

The pizza here is delicious, what else is there to say? Well, depends which pizza you get. I've yet to try any of their pizzas that I did not like. The crust is wonderful, and they have a spicy oil that, while not too spicy in my opinion, has a wonderful flavor. Oh, and the desserts are phenomenal. The tiramisu is incredible. I cannot overstate how much I loved it. Definitely worth trying.

Food came out hot and fresh. The servers kept checking on our drinks. Staff was friendly and courteous. Had a very nice time.
